Is it important HOW we die?

Is it important how we die?

Yes, it is said that it doesn’t matter than who is who, even when God himself manifests on this planet, one day he has to go back. So, anyone who is born on this planet has to die or has to go. It is important to know this. We are not permanent residents of this planet. We are coming and going. Now, it means not that it doesn’t matter how we die. We don’t want to die suffering full of pain. We don’t want to die starving and hungry that we can’t do anything that no one listens to us or helps us. We would like that though spiritual life, though meditation and prayers, by loving this world and people, consciously we take a deep breath and our soul merges into the Supreme. This is very important.

In some scriptures death is described as a very holy process. And, we have to respect it. That’s why the last will of the person should be respected. The last will of the person should be above the law of any country because that is described and accepted as the Divine will. So, we will die one day or we have to leave this body, but we pray that we pass over peacefully, and relaxed and happily. And, that our spiritual light, our mantra, our Gurudev, our Guide, his light should guide us further in the astral world. So, it is sure that one day we will have to go, but it is not only that it doesn’t matter how we die- we will die. That is true. But, we wish that we will die comfortably, happily, peacefully, without suffering pain.

Which comes first- pranayam or asana?

Which comes first- pranayam or asana?

Well, this is a beautiful question. And, this is very, very good for all aspirants who are practicing yoga. And, [this is] really a very practical question. So first, I would say practice pranayam after practicing of asanas. The sequencing of yoga practice- first, you wash yourself, make yourself fresh, open the windows, have a good air, and make sure you are after four hours after your meal, minimum 3 hours after your meal. Then it begins. First, you calm down yourself. Calm down yourself means, you relax. You relax the whole body as well as you concentrate and relax your breath rhythm. After that you practice asanas which has three movements. Dynamical movements for body warming, then the stretching to remove the stiffness of the body, then follows the postures- asanas. While doing this, we influence our entire system of the body, and also what we call the blood cells. After little relax for a while, then practice pranayams. Practicing of pranayams main reason is to purify all toxins from respirtatory process though breathing techniques. Therefore after asanas is advised to practice pranayams. After practicing pranayams, then follows the concentration and meditation. Therefore, it is said, asanas, pranaymas, dharana, dhyana, and samadhi. These are the instructions of the Great Saint, Maharishi Patanjali in the Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.

If you do wrong pranayam, if you do pranayam first, yes, you are right, it can bring disturbances in your energy flow, in  your aura, and even if can bring some kind of unpleasant feelings during the awakening of the chakras or kundalini. The kundalini awakening is not a physical awakening, there is no any reaction on the physical body. Awakening of kundalini means, awakening of happiness, awakening of the ananda, supreme bliss, awakening of kundalini means awakening of wisdom, awakening of contentement, self-confidence and that Divine Love which will leads us towards the Supreme. So once more, pranayam should be practiced after practicing of the asanas. This is according to the ancient, authentic yogic literatures.
