Drishti Point Founder and Producer

Farah Moolji Nazarali is the Founder and Executive Producer of Drishti Point Yoga Radio and the Visionary who created The Smiling Yogi (www.thesmilingyogi.com) a company dedicated to spreading joy through Laughter Yoga.

After graduating from McGill University with a Bachelors in Political Science (1995) and from George Washington University (1999) with a Masters in Latin American Studies, and spending more than 10 years teaching, Farah realized that the power for change in the world lies within each individual and has found the practice of yoga to be the most effective way of initiating positive change on all levels.

Yoga creates inner balance and harmony which naturally contributes to peace in our mind, body, speech and action. Yoga is not something we practice in a class or at a studio, it is a way of being and acting in this world, and it is through my yoga practice that I feel I am able to make a positive and meaningful contribution to a more peaceful and loving world.

Through her business The Smiling Yogi, Farah has worked for a diverse range of clients including: the BC Nurses Union, Burnaby School District, Canadian Mental Health Association, District of Kitimat, Ernst and Young, Inspire Health, Ministry of Employment and Income, MOSAIC, UBC Dept. of Medicine, UBC Language Institute, Vancouver Coastal Health, and many more. Since 2012, Farah has dedicated her time to Drishti Point, and left her business, The Smiling Yogi, in the capable hands of Seia Roots, Community Educator, adn Certified Laughter Leader Extradordinaire.
